Description:
The Bargaining Committee consists of
representatives from all three CEP locals who meet with the
company to negotiate the Collective Agreement. They also
meet at other times during the year to discuss issues and
concerns that might arise after the Collective Agreement has
been ratified.
In Local 2-s the president is
automatically appointed to the committee and any additional
members are chosen at the Provincial Screening Caucus.

Description:
The Election committee chosen from the members of the local is responsible for
officiating over elections of executive and committee members
as well as the ratification of the collective agreement.
Occupation Health Safety
Committees

Description:
Occupation Health and Safety Committees are joint
union/management committees responsible for Health and Safety in
the workplace. The committees are governed by the Federal OH&S
code. |
